3 Take attendance（點名）的常用相關字詞

take attendance = roll-call（點名）
present [ˋpreznt] adj. 出席的；在場的； n. 禮物； v. 提出；呈現

absent [ˋæbsənt] adj. 缺席的；不在場的
excused absence（因故缺席）…當學生缺席，教師或同學可能會說的詞。

late adv. 遲到
excuse n. （未準時 / 出席的）藉口

 The reasons the student did not come.（學生未來上課的理由。）

基本句型運用實例

1 Let’s start the roll call. 現在開始點名。
句型：Let's start + n...（開始…）

提醒：roll call n. 點名

2 Who is absent today? 誰今天沒來（缺席）？

句型：Who is...?（誰是…？）
提醒：absent [ˋæbsnt] adj. 缺席的；不在場的

3 Mary came to school late and missed the midterm exam.
瑪莉遲到並錯過了期中考試。

提醒：1. late [let] adv. 遲到
2. miss [mɪs] n. 漏掉；省略；避免

3. midterm exam n. 期中考，midterm adj. 期中的
4. final exam n. 期末考，final adj. 最後的；完成的
