練 習 1 將下列句子用動名詞改成合文法的句子

1. Play baseball is fun.
2. Study English is boring.

3. Go to the movies makes me happy.（看電影讓我快樂）

4. Eat breakfast is important.

5. Live in Taiwan is good.

6. Be with you is funny.

二 不定詞

動詞變成名詞的另一個方法，就是變成不定詞，也就是 to 加上動詞原形。

例 • Eat breakfast is important.（×）
To eat breakfast is important.（○） 吃早餐是重要的。

• Play baseball is fun.（×）
To play baseball is fun.（○） 打棒球是好玩的。

• Eat too much is not good.（×）
To eat too much is not good.（○） 吃太多不好。

練 習 2 將下列句子用不定詞改成合文法的句子

1. Play basketball is easy.

2. Study English is fun.

3. Sleep well is important.（睡得好很重要。）

4. Live in the country is good.（住在鄉下很好。）

5. Eat too much is not good.（吃太多不好。）

三 虛主詞

比較下列句子：
To play baseball is fun. 打棒球是好玩的。

可寫成：It is fun to play baseball.

文法 前面的 It 代表的就是 to play baseball 這件事，事實上的主詞還是 to play baseball，
所以把 It 稱為虛主詞。
