一 have 有好幾個意思，容易混淆

1 表示「有」。
例 • I have a pen. 我有一枝筆。 • He has a car. 他有車。

• We had a lot of money before. 我們以前很有錢。

2 表示「吃」。

例 • I had an egg for breakfast. 我早餐吃了一個蛋。

3 表示「喝」。

例 • I had a cup of tea. 我喝了一杯茶。

4 have to ＝ must，表示「必須」。

例 • You have to go home. 你必須回家。
• Students have to study hard. 學生必須用功。

5 have + 過去分詞，為完成式 ，表示「已經……，曾經……」。
例 • I have slept for two days. 我已經睡了二天。

6 have + 東西 + P.P.，表示「讓……東西被……」。
例 • I have my car washed. 我洗車。（不一定是自己洗的）

• She had her hair cut. 她剪頭髮。（當然不大可能是自己剪的）

注 意 have 當「有」的時候，沒有進行式。
如：我現在有一部車。

不能說 I am having a car now.
要 說 I have a car now.

4. They a beautiful house. 他們有一棟漂亮的房子。

5. Jennifer a lot of money before. Jennifer 以前很有錢。
6. I a hamburger for breakfast yesterday. 我昨天早餐吃了一個漢堡。
