三 關係代名詞的非限定用法

在關係代名詞前加「逗號」，作補充敘述之用。補述逗號前面的人、事、物。

例 • My wife, whose husband is already the mayor, still loves money very much.

我老婆，她（的）老公已經是市長了，還是很愛錢。

• Her uncle, who lives in New York, will come next week.

她叔叔，（他）住在紐約，下禮拜要來。
• The mayor, who said he would not leave us, lied to us.

市長（他）說他不會烙跑，騙了我們。

• My cousin, who lives in USA, is a businessman.

比較 我表哥，（他）住在美國，是個生意人。
• My cousin who lives in USA is a businessman.

我住在美國的表哥是生意人。
